It was great to see all the participants this year! Sydor Optics started the year with a new look on the show floor with a dynamic backlit booth that featured our impressive double-sided polishing facility. The booth stood out in the NY Photonics Cluster and brought in new interest and contacts to build relationships. Thanks to everyone for the positive compliments and also for stopping by.
With over 22,000 registered attendees at the 2023 Photonics West show in San Francisco, it wasn’t hard to meet new people and talk about all the innovations and growth in the world of optics and photonics. Things that stood out the most at this year’s show were, everyone is busy, lots of work for everyone and the semiconductor segment is keeping a lot of companies busy. Overall, the meetings were great with a lot of relevant content and participants actually knowing exactly what they were looking for and knowing who to meet to fill their supply chain needs. Of course, the Sydor Optics team is always here to help and we’re following up with everyone that visited us to ensure we continue our discussions.
For those of you that didn’t know, Sydor Optics, and our regional cluster of hundreds of New York optics, photonics and imaging companies are all active in regional, national and international collaborations. Rochester, NY and the Finger Lakes Region stand out for the sheer number of OPI companies and research institutions and our extraordinary historical legacy, which is why we’re always excited to host the annual SPIE Optifab Show in the fall in Rochester. We hope to see everyone there and if you would like a tour of our facility, let us know and we’ll set that up for you.
For everyone that visited us at the show, thank you for your time. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation and building lasting relationships.
