This high-precision optical wafer is made from premium Corning 7980 Grade 0F fused silica, designed to provide excellent optical clarity, mechanical stability, and stringent tolerances. It features a diameter of 200.00 mm ± 0.20 mm and a thickness of 3.00 mm ± 0.20 mm, giving you a robust, large-format optic. The clear aperture is about 85% of the diameter, allowing for a large usable optical area.

Optical performance is tightly controlled: the transmitted wavefront error is less than 0.25 waves per inch at the metrology wavelength of 632 nm; reflective wavefront error is less than 1 wave per inch. Parallelism is held to < 30 seconds of arc. Surface cosmetics meet a 40/20 scratch-dig standard, edge finish is fine-edge ground, surface roughness is better than 1 nm, and chips are limited to < 0.5 mm. For safe handling, a safety bevel is applied.
