This large-format Borofloat® wafer delivers excellent optical clarity and mechanical strength in a 2.00 mm thick form. With a diameter of 200.00 mm ± 0.20 mm, it provides a substantial usable optical area. It’s designed for high performance, combining minimal distortion, reliable dimensional tolerances, and clear aperture efficiency (~85% of diameter).

The wafer features surface cosmetics held to a 40/20 scratch-dig standard, fine-edge grinding with a safety bevel to help prevent edge damage, and tight control over optical flatness. Transmitted wavefront error is less than 0.25 waves/inch, reflective wavefront error under 1 wave/inch, and parallelism better than 30 arc seconds. Total thickness variation (TTV) is kept under 5 micrometers. Surface roughness is better than 1 nanometer RMS, and any chips outside the clear aperture are limited to < 0.5 mm.
