This Borofloat® wafer offers a large, ultra-thin optical element designed for applications where size, clarity, and minimal thickness are crucial. Measuring 200.00 mm ± 0.20 mm in diameter with a thickness of 0.50 mm ± 0.10 mm, it delivers a generous optical area (≈ 85% clear aperture) while maintaining tight tolerances. The wafer’s edge finish is fine edge ground with a C-bevel to protect against chips, which are limited to < 0.5 mm. Surface quality is held to a 40/20 scratch-dig standard, with surface roughness under 1 nm. Total thickness variation (TTV) is < 5 µm; bow and warp are each ≤ 25 µm.
